Bio
Jeremy Ruzich is a multimedia-multidimensional artist and ecologically-minded arborist, with roots deep & wide, set most firmly in Philadelphia and Kansas City.
His artwork incorporates photography, poetry, audio field recordings, video, sculpture, mixed media, and conceptual art collaborations. Jeremy is most drawn to tracing universal threads of the human experience, practicing holistic ecology, advocating for paradox, and asking questions that mostly just lead to more questions.
Jeremy is an ISA Certified Arborist and has been caring for trees and their living landscapes professionally since 2021 (and non-professionally long before that...). With expertise in community forestry and natural lands restoration, his natural lens is to see the forest for the trees - and to see our neighborhoods as forests.
He has also been producing photography and video projects commissioned by nonprofit organizations and grassroots community groups since 2009. He loves teaming up to tell beautiful, authentic stories.
