Bio
Hi, I'm Jeremy! I'm a holistic arborist and ecologically-minded artist, and I'm positively exuberant about sustainable paradigms, diverse communities, creative expression, environmental justice and the places where it all intersects. Though my roots run deep and wide, they are centered in Philadelphia and Kansas City.
I am an ISA Certified Arborist and have been caring for trees and their living landscapes professionally since 2021 (and non-professionally long before that...). With expertise in urban forestry and natural lands restoration, my innate lens is to see the forest for the trees - and to see our communities as forests.
Like the ecosystems I love, the art I create is multifaceted and multi-dimensional. My primary mediums are photography, audio field recordings, sculpture, mixed media, and conceptual art collaborations. In my creative explorations, I'm most drawn to tracing universal threads of the human experience, expanding inclusive ecology, advocating for paradox, and asking questions that mostly just lead to more questions.
I've also been producing photography and video projects commissioned by nonprofit organizations and grassroots community groups since 2009. I love teaming up to tell beautiful, authentic stories.
